Me and Cendoo play another classic adventure game. This time, I’m playing and Cendoo is watching. This first episode is a bit of a slow starter but we pick up the pace for Part 2.

So…this happened. This video has been planned since…I don’t fucking know when. Sometime early last year. I can’t say I’ve seen an AMV with this song that approached it correctly in my eyes. Perhaps it’s because none of them had the kind of solemn footage that was themed with death. Well, I thought to myself, and Shadow of the Colossus
fit best. Death is a MAJOR theme in this game. Kill 16 creatures to save one woman who was sacrificed, only to be ultimately “killed” yourself. So now I have a video so I can give criticism without someone saying “well let’s see you do better”.
Footage: Shadow of the Colossus (PS3 port)
Gameplay by Raggedstar
Song: Oh Death
Artist: Jen Titus (cover)
Also, tidbit. This song goes WAY back. See, this version is one of the more well known ones (featured on Supernatural), but that’s not where it began. There are quite a few covers of this song, with the oldest recording on Youtube I could find coming from the 1960s, though I think the oldest time this song has been noted being heard was in the 1800s. Wow 0__0. Apparently this is an old American dirge (dirge? As in the 10th colossus? Ooo I made a pun) that dates way back in American history. There, so you learned something today
PS: My name is Raggedstar, the queen of procrastination. Why? Well, see, I’m planning to step up to the plate again for Anime North (this game is rated T. Shouldn’t be too bad). The earliest a video could premiere was sometime in November or something. I started recording about 2 weeks ago, and then started editing last week. DUE DATE IS ON THE 8TH AT MIDNIGHT! I hate myself.
Yup, that’s pretty much it. That and a few updates here and there.
