Oh ya, and I’ve been AMVing for 7 years. How about that?
For those that have stuck around for years watching my videos, commenting and liking my videos, you dudes are great. For those just tuning in, that’s also great, but for fuck’s sake stop saying Shadow on the Wall is genuinely good. If that’s the case, I know some videos that may blow your mind. Or you can provide me an honest analysis on why that video is good and I’m not allowed to feel butthurt about it.
Tokyo Jungle is one of those few games I feel really comfortable with. Played it a lot when it came out in September, took a break, and I’ve been recently playing again. Who’s up for a little LP? I don’t know when I’ll get to this, but while we wait, here’s a poll. Also, go buy this game. $15 is a bargain for a game like this.
CHOICES:
1. Survival mode. I’ll do 1 or 2 survival mode games (carnivore and herbivore). Choose your favourite animals and I’ll play the most popular one. Be sure to specify a skin. Pick from any animal on the list except for chick (hard to get a nice, long playthrough since they keep DYING), a big tank herbivore (like a hippo or cow, mostly because they’re so slow and kinda boring), or a DLC animal (I’m cheap, no matter how badass that kangaroo seems). For those wondering on my experience level, my longest runs were with the gazelle (117 years AND I’M VERY PROUD OF THAT ONE), tiger (107 years), wolf/tosa/lycaon/jackal/golden (100-105 years), and Pomeranian (95 years). Most likely more, but that’s a good cross-section of which animals I’m best at.

Full playthrough of story mode. There are about 14 chapters and most of them are pretty short. They’re not that difficult either, except for two of them (if you played them, you know EXACTLY which ones I’m talking about). The animals you play in story mode are the Pomeranian, Sika Deer, Beagle, Tosa, Lion, Hyena, and ERC-003.
I’ll get to my Sly 4 video once I can edit down the script to under 40 minutes. Jesus Christ I have a problem x___x. I have a lot of video ideas on my plate, some more finished than others. Sly 4 is on my “pile”.
Tokyo Jungle is a game best watched with co-commentary, so I’ll grab a friend (most likely Smiff since she played this game before and can give me back-up when I need it). Shame that this game’s multiplayer is local only.
UPDATE: I’ll assume Amazon has yet to ship my game. They haven’t told me yet and haven’t said anything why, so I think maybe the earliest I’ll get it is Wednesday. If anything happens to my order, I’ll give in and go to Gamestop or something.
A video in anticipation for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (which will be released this Tuesday in North America). It’s currently $40 for the PS3 version (which gives you a free Vita version) and $30 for Vita. Might be recording some Sly 4 this week, so you in?
OMG I HAZ A BLOG! This blog will be used to discuss a few things. It will include (but not limited to) reviews (games, movies, POSSIBLY AMVS, etc), uncovering some project concepts and updates of future AMVs, rants (of assorted bitchery), a very special article series :3, and of course is the HQ of the Foundation Of Raggedstar Inferiority (FORI). Lots of fun, right?
I’m open to those that want to give some feedback, ideas, help in set up, or collaberate with some articles.
As for TCT, bug Possk. I only have about 10-13 seconds to go on my last part. And to think this was supposed to be uploaded in March by our guesses.
And on a more serious note, WLMM sucks. It just sucks so hard. It’s clunky, pain in the ass layout, dumbed down to the point where it hardly functions as an effective (even amateur) video editor, and dropped so many necessary features. Ugh, fuck it. At least WMM could pull off some decent stuff.

This video is going going over some shit that has been happening to me and my friends because of copyright. I talk mostly about GDW and Nihon Ad Systems and that people are getting hit with strikes. Though I also mentioned stuff with Studio Ghibli. So, yanno, be on the look-out. Until they stop getting touchy, there will be no videos here made with footage from NAS and Ghibli and the ones that they didn’t remove, I removed myself.
I also talk about other projects (since I’m talking anyways and I usually never talk about future projects). Some are AMVs, though one of them will contain a rant sort of thing with Blackfang, Shado, Dame, Possk, Amz and I talking about AMVs and copyright.

People have asked me this since the 6 month long drought between IWA and Soldier Side. Why don’t I upload often? This is a video that says why regarding what I’m doing off Youtube and my editing speed when I actually get down to editing. Even though this started from way back, it still happens time and again and I haven’t uploaded a full AMV since Madokara Mieru (and the Hobo video was mostly just for lulz anyways, even though it did turn out pretty well).
This is also part of the reason why I don’t join a lot of MEPs/collabs, contests, or take requests.
It’s also announcing other projects, like countdowns and reviews and stuff like that (just to bring a bit more variety in my channel, even though AMVs are a specialty here). If you want to suggest things or just questions/comments in general, let me know and I’ll think about it. I’ll also take people that actually want to HELP me with those projects too, including guest commentary if people don’t mind coming in on a mic.

“But Raggedstar, I want you to AMV!” A frequent question. I said it in the video and I’ll say it here. I’m focusing more on AMVs than games. That’ll ALWAYS be the case. Gaming videos aren’t my element, but people wanted me to do more (blame them). I know I sound really tired here. It’s because I am. Why? Because I’ve been pulling some late nights AMVing (…and getting little progress). See? I’m still editing.
