Given my history with Square Enix (mostly Squaresoft) I felt compelled to comment on the recent news that they want to create a new studio to focus on console RPGs.

After replaying Nier for my review, I became inspired to delve deeper into the game’s theme and message and so I decided to make this video. It’s a little different from what I normally do but I hope everyone enjoys it.
This is a review of Nier an action adventure RPG that takes place in the same universe as the Drakengard series. With that in mind there’s no need to play any of the Drakengard games in order to enjoy Nier as they’re only very loosely connected. This game was published by Square Enix and developed by Cavia.
