Gexup – Alien 3 is Underrated

“One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” is one of my favorite quotes. And none can fit the picture more-so than Alien 3. I understand that Alien 3 is very mixed with so many people because its a follow-up from the action-packed Aliens (sequel of Alien) and it blew us all of away. The Alien Trilogy is my favorite movie trilogy of all time and the third film of the series is in my top 10 favorite movies ever. You might think that it’s blasphemy to say that Alien 3 is better than Ridley Scott’s Alien and James Cameron’s Aliens, even though those two directors are the biggest talents in Hollywood today, David Fincher’s Alien 3 in terms of storytelling, dynamic camera shots, and overall filmmaking. I don’t care if it wasn’t as fun or as scary as the past films, what the third film offered tremendously was spirituality to its audience. And analyzing Alien 3 as a spiritual film is what this blog is going in-depth with.
