NOTE: This video was nearly perfectly synced in the preview window last time I viewed it (it would often change). There was certainly not 3 second delays or sticky frames. Fuck my iPod, and fuck Pinnacle x_________________x.

Not a long part, but some decent scares. We weren’t very funny in the control room or the cistern, so I skipped a lot of it there.
The rest of the game SHOULD be in the same part next time. If it goes too long, I’ll do two shorter videos.
More face cam action with Raggs and Possk as we plunge into the study and eventually the storage (one of the scariest areas of the game, as we soon find out). Please enable annotations so I can warn you of a huge spike in audio due to…stuff 0___0.

The continuing adventures of two AMV makers playing their first horror game, Amnesia: The Dark Descent…NOW WITH FACE CAM! 😀
I have MOV files. Did I mention that? It’s a horrible format and Apple should be ashamed. Vegas doesn’t like it, WMM doesn’t like it, the size of these videos makes the converters convulse, and there are no decent video editors for my iPod. Fuck the format…repeatedly. Part of the reason why it’s been so long for these Amnesia videos to come out. I’m using Pinnacle Studio to edit right now (came with the Dazzle), and MAN is it awkward to use. Not because I’m used to Vegas. Just because of how it’s awkward to do the simplest tasks (importing, effects, text, transitions, splitting, audio in general, syncing, etc). Blah. Not to mention it’s pretty jerky and for a while wouldn’t even include my fades. So sick of that program. Oh, and that audio glitch at the beginning (where my intro clip is) shouldn’t have happened. The audio in this program is so fiddly.
UPDATE: This AMV won 2nd place in xEmptyParadisex’s AMV contest
Made for xEmptyParadisex’s AMV contest. It’s my first Youtube contest, so yay. Would’ve done something more active, but this is what happens when you give me deadlines. Something faster and having a lot more beats would be difficult to complete in only 18 days. Geeze, this is a slow song and it was done in 14.
Sooo, ya, tribute to Cheza & Kiba (though I threw in a bit of Darcia). Been simply obsessed with this song for almost a year and wanted to do an AMV to it since February. Gotta love depressing love songs.
Umm…ya…I use sepia tone a lot. Song is called “Carnival of RUST”, so using a rusty brown-ish colour a lot is a no brainer.
I read “Carnival Of Rust” being a metaphor/symbol for worn down or ending love (a carnival being something fun, but a carnival isn’t much fun if left in the rain and turns to rust). Kiba’s instinct is to be with Cheza and reach Paradise, though so does Darcia. Both of them have a fierce lust for Cheza, though Kiba is the only one that loves her a bit more with compassion (hence where I showed a lot of pissy Darcia shots when it said “where enough is not the same it was before”). Hmm, now that I really think about it, if Kiba’s love for Cheza is a wolf instinct, does he truly love her? Stupid question at first, but ya, think about it.

If anyone hasn’t figured this out yet, all AMVs are done for fan and self-educational purposes.
This is a remake of my first AMV (made April 2006. You’ll see a few similar scenes). It pisses me off that so many people like it and call it my best (or one of my best). Like, dudes, COME ON! I have a shitload of good AMVs that weren’t made when I was a rookie. Mmmkay?
Here is a bit of a tidbit of what happened in my rookie times making AMVs. After I made my first AMV, someone on AMV.org sent me a very…VERY rude response, making the crits more of on a personal level rather than at the AMV. I don’t have it anymore, but it had stuff along the lines of “You suck, you’ll never be good”, “You’ll never come to anything”, “Just quit”, stuff like that. Well, I hope that retard sees this (or some of my other good AMVs) and freaking eats his own verbal shit ^^.
So…ya…if you liked the first version, this should blow your freaking undies off. I’m quite proud of this one and other than some mistakes and misplaced transitions (*sweatdrop*), could be one of my best. The beginning was totally made up on the fly…which is pretty good considering on how well timed and how it just looks…sexy. This also took me about a week to do (wow 0_0).
Contrary to my first one, this is an INTENTIONAL Kiba tribute. The song really suits him (as it sounds like it’s a leader/hero talking to his soldiers) and the action scenes go well with him. Actually, I think I’ve used almost every Kiba action scene in the anime. Totally serious here. I’ve done the impossible 0____0.

What happens when you get two dorks that have never played a horror game together with one of the best horror games in years? Well, here is a good start
Don’t worry, next vids will have pretty moving pictures and face cam. Still no gameplay footage (reminder, Steam doesn’t like Fraps here), but we all know that some of the best reactions from Amnesia are face cams.
For those that don’t know what Amnesia: The Dark Descent is, just do a quick Youtube search. The game is also on Steam and is sometimes on sale this time of the year towards Halloween. You’re welcome.
THERE WAS A LOT MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM! This has to be the glitchiest port I’ve ever played. The originals were no saints, but WOW, I’ve had to quit my game 3 times because of a glitch that broke it (in the entire years of playing the franchise I had to do it 3 other times, but that was over 8 games and 3 years). Most of these never happened to me in the original PS2 games, or if they did they were pretty rare.
Due to playing in HD, I couldn’t use my equipment. So I needed to have my iPod handy to pick these up (as you can tell, I’m playing with 1 hand, oven using my nose to press buttons. Then again I can play Metro Speedway in Spyro 2 with one hand). Sorry for the quality and poor handling.
Here are some explanations of these glitches.
0:04 – I was backtracking to Blackwater City to get the gold bolt in the flooded tunnel. Swam through near the top and glitched outside of the map.
1:47 – I was escaping from the fish after a failed jump, so I jumped onto land. Got caught under the taxi and everything turned blue.
2:00 – These Gadgebots would consistently glitch out in this very area. Whenever I instructed them to attack, they would run in a random direction and get themselves caught and will not move unless I instruct them with another command (though then they’ll glitch again when told to attack). Happened on all 3 of my playthroughs. Those two clips were done on the same playthrough, divided by a death BECAUSE MY BOTS WERE MORONS AND WOULDN’T KILL THE DAMN ALIENS!
3:01 – Near the end of this planet, you’re trapped with several thugs and you can’t get by without defeating the 3 there and the ones that respawn in their place. I used the bouncer and it killed the 3, but none respawned after that. Nothing I did could trigger the force field to go down, so I was forced to close my game.
3:43 – Same as above, but I used the plasma coil. I often come here to grind my stronger weapons, but the forcefield triggered again (I don’t recall that happening in the originals) and wouldn’t go down. Again, had to close my game. In between these attempts I used the sheepinator and got no problems.
4:15 – As you can tell from the previous glitches, dead bodies often don’t disappear like they should (I noticed this most with GC). I get the bolts, but the bodies remain. After I slaughtered all these protopets with my trusty plasma coil, I noticed that most of them remained onscreen (including a hovering face-down dead protopet that was squished).
4:50 – Running in place was a common glitch I saw in all games in the collection (rarely in the originals), but most frequently in UYA. They will be locked in their running animation and will let you walk right up to them without any reaction
5:03 – The Ameboids of UYA frequently glitched. I got ones in the floor several times. They’ll try to bite you but they can’t quite reach. Hard to kill too. Found a few on their side too, locked in a walking animation but won’t react.
5:46 – I DON’T CARE IF THIS IS AN ALIEN AQUATIC BASE. BOXES DON’T HOVER LIKE THAT!
6:02 – Was very far into the Qwarktastic battle to grind my weapons and get bolts, but my Qwack-o-blitzer seems to have broken the game. PS3 was completely non-responsive, had to shut off the console.
6:18 – This Ranger mission ends with you taking out the two turrets. I took them both out quickly with my Lvl 3 RY3NO but like on Snivelak I seemed to have killed an event-specific enemy too efficiently for the game to register. I looked all around the level to find something to trigger the end, but the level was completely empty (I think the Rangers were gone too for some reason, though that couldn’t have caused it). Had to end the mission and restart. Used RY3NO again without problems.
6:39 – Listen closely. I didn’t catch it on camera, but at the beginning of the Phoenix invasion I noticed the small robots and a ninja…fell through the floor. Sometimes I saw them peek through the floor, though you can’t see it here. However, you can still hear the swinging noise from their poles (the outside noise drowned out the robots). All other enemies in the area were destroyed.
7:01 – Uhh, remember that part in my Spyro 3 fail reel when there was a ninja that wouldn’t die? Well, here (the original version was made by the same developer btw) when I was entering the Phoenix’s bridge I was welcomed by about 4 ninjas. No problem, but then I noticed my point-and-kill RY3NO was doing jack shit to them. I backed off and hid behind a barrier to keep my 20x multiplier intact. Tried to kill them again and noticed not only where they not dying, but the shots from it and my decimator were going right through them. On closer inspection, the ninjas in general were going spastic! I couldn’t kill these guys, and when I tried to charge boot through them I lost my multiplier x____x.
8:01 – THIS glitch I like ^^.
Hmm, my iPod assigned this video to “comedy”. I think you overestimate me, Apple.
Made for Leto86. It was her birthday on September 10th, but I was working on another AMV. She is a dedicated volunteer in an animal rescue here in Ontario (she has movies in her channel) and has been my online friend for years. HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY, LETOFLUFF!.
This AMV had 11 honors, but it didn’t say all of them.

Anyways, AMV info. This is a tribute to Toboe…despite the fact he is my least favourite character in WR (I didn’t go “HAH! TOBOE JUST GOT FREAKING PWNED!” though. His death was very depressing, even for me). He is Leto’s favourite character though (my first AMV got her hooked on the series lol), so here we are. I purchased the album “Fallen” by Evanescence, and I found this song quite powerful. Amy Lee (frontwoman for the band) wrote this song about one of her sisters that died. It sounds so innocent and depressing that it matched Toboe perfectly.
Though there isn’t much to the AMV in regards to effects, I did put some “hidden meaning” stuff in there since I like my works to have a bit of a background. I intended it to be about Toboe with Tsume (in any way, whether it be a “brother” relationship, love, close friend, they all work). Tsume (according to his Japanese voice actor) said that Tsume is maybe the most timid and insecure of all the characters. I used that to relate him to Toboe, with how he made Tsume “right” again by being a friend (though Tsume didn’t act like it much in return) and allowing him to trust/believe. Ummm…ya…I hope that makes sense 0-0.
Here is the translation to the part at the end (given by the DVD’s subs).
Toboe: “C’mon, Tsume! Let’s go!” “I believe in you, Tsume.” “I’m not going to whine anymore.”
Tsume: “Yeah, I know. I know”

At last, an AMV that doesn’t contain an exclamation point. Before watching my AMV, it’s best that you swing by xRunningstarx’s account and watch the Silverwing episodes. If you read the book, you’ll have a vague idea of what’s going on, but the plots in the book and show are quite different past the 3rd episode (although the connections are still there).
YAY! My first Silverwing AMV! It’s also the first AMV I made with a CANADIAN show (not only that, but an uber-riffic Canadian book. I met the author ^^) and my first that doesn’t contain a canine main character (Luger is more of a side character, but still cool). None the less, bats are one of the most misunderstood animals out there, which is a shame since they’re awesome animals.
Ok, AMV talk. This AMV’s title pretty much suits how it behaved. Hell 0__x. Very choppy and I had a lot of problems timing it (should be ok now), plus the ever lovely spell of “creative blocks”. Oh well, done now, and I’m quite proud of it. HAH! TAKE THAT, RUNNINGSTAR! I CAN MAKE AN AMV WITH A KID’S SHOW AND DISTURBED! *nyaa*
PS: Note that the font in the credits is the same as the title’s in the series :3. It’s called “Morpheus” if anyone’s wondering.

This AMV is the first for a few things for me. First WR AMV that has GOOD quality footage, first AMV that uses a song close to Linkin Park (Chester Bennington, lead singer for LP, sings the main vocals. I don’t think the rest of the band is in it. The song itself is made by someone else), AND it’s the first where I make an AMV that uses a song with cursing. Mwha.
Can’t believe I got this AMV done in about a week 0-0. Since the song was so slow, I had some freedom to be a tad bit lazy. However, I don’t do anything too flashy like some of my previous ones, but still, this AMV is good stuff.
