Raggedstar – Balto + ADGTH – Running Away

Requested by a freind on Furry-Paws, Wizardess (vetstar05).

Holy crap, WMM was moving nicely these past few days. This took me about a day to make, and on the most part, WMM was well behaved (scary, ain’t it?).

This song is about the concept of love and cheating. This AMV (by request) focuses on the relationship between Itchy and Charlie (as friends), as Itchy feels like he’s being cheated out of his best bud (although I might’ve screwed that up 0-0). Plus, it focuses on Balto and Jenna (as a couple). Although I screwed up some parts, I think this one looks pretty spiffy.

Here, you can see some of my new effects, such as “negative”, “motion blur”, “colour filter”, “glowing edges”, and “colour filter negative”. Pretty spiffy stuff.

Raggedstar – Wolf’s Rain – Breathless

Well, if I was back to Wolf’s Rain with Dare To Love Forever, then with this one, I’m back with VENGENCE with Breathless. RESPECT MAH AUTHORITAH!

AMV to my friend, BAkos, one of my closest friends on Youtube and MSN.

*twitches* Ok then, this is the AMV that I’ve boasted about. Not as good as I wanted it to be, but some parts are great. I blame the bad parts on WMM. If anyone has been reading my updates, you would know the shit I’ve gone through to get this thing done. In order to get it up, I had to re-save it in 2 parts, then save them together. That sacrificed video quality. It’s better quality than my previous one, but ya, worse than it would be if I saved it straight on. I also accidentally muted my intro x-x.

So, this is a couples AMV, focusing on the couples (Cheza x Kiba, Hige x Blue, Tsume x Toboe, Jaguara/Hamona x Darcia, and a bit of Hubb x Cher. Sorry, couldn’t find a lot for them). The song itself is about ending love, so ya, those are my reasonings. Worked out fairly well, considering the fact that I “eat boyfriends” in real life and gag at most romances. Most of it is Kiba x Cheza…for no apparent reason. Despite the crap I’ve gone through to make it, I still believe this is one of my bests.

As you might notice, I tried a few new techniques and effects that I installed into it. Examples include “shake”, “flicker”, and my luffly “translucent”. Preeeetty, since I have to make up for the fact that “shatter” doesn’t work on my computer.

UPDATE: After about a year, this video has had about 35k views, 600 favs, and 300 ratings. Damn 0.o

Raggedstar – Sly Cooper – "Two To Tango" Ladder Shortcut

Yep, random gaming shenanigans with crappy commentary showing a rather cheap trick to skip part of this level. Has it been done before? Yep (according to a walkthrough I read soon after uploading), but I haven’t seen anyone use it in the runs I’ve seen on Youtube.

Anyways, a few weeks ago, I was polishing the rest of my Master Thief Sprints off (I’ll say it again, most are quite sadistic) and when I came to this level, I noticed I had 24 seconds remaining at the end (most people that uploaded were closer to 10). I didn’t remember the layout, and I jumped to the ladder (because I didn’t know better at first) which skipped a fair size section of the level. Today, reminded by watching Mr100PercentGamer do this level’s sprint (shameless advertising, watch his stuff), I decided to try and do it again. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to match my time of 24 seconds remaining and proves once again any accomplishment of mine comes down to dumb luck.

In short, using a chandelier above the vault, it’s possible to take advantage of Sly’s good reach and hook onto the ladder while jumping. Jumping angles, timing, and possibly how the chandelier swings are factors on the success of the jump. If done on the first few tries, it can shave off much of the time you would normally spend going around.

Raggedstar – Wolf’s Rain – We Wanted All

Took me a while to get into my groove, but I managed to make a better AMV to Wolf’s Rain. It covers the dramatic deaths, tragedies, and enemies for the main characters. Looks pretty nifty on WMP (WMM and ripper = ERGIWANTTOKILLYOUNOW!), but Youtube might slow it down again and making it look bad. This AMV is all about TIMING. Although I am off at a few parts, I REALLY don’t want to be off by more. Dedicated to my closest audience, Leto and Sunchaser, who gave me lots of support with my AMVs. I’ve wanted to do this song in an ADGTH AMV for a long time. This is a tribute to Charlie and his friendship with Itchy (and a bit with Anne Marie, but mainly Itchy). This AMV is dedicated to all my friends. I follow you, you follow me. As a note, this AMVs has a lot of elements requiring percise fades, and knowing Youtube, will probably screw it up royally. I’ll upload it again to a faster server if I need to. Edit: EWWWW, it’s laggier than I thought it would be.
